This route is intended for established crypto exchanges whose existing acquiring arrangements have been affected by regulatory change and that can clearly evidence their current operating model, ownership, customer markets and transaction history.
This is not a way to provide crypto-asset services to EU clients without any authorisation required under MiCA. A non-EU entity or registration does not by itself replace the permissions required for the markets a business serves.
